Event Details - September 2002

September 11th Remembrance. On September 10th and 11th in Memorial World we will gather to remember the innocent lives lost during the horrible September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. During that time you will be able to put a message on one of the MANY stars on the Memorial Wall, with your thoughts and prayers. Simply whisper to one of the Memorial World Assistants in bold type, and they will make sure your message is posted. The Pippinville World Trade Center Memorial (aw 1962.7S 2581.6E 0.0a 266) will host a Day of Memory. Memorial building lots are now open for any who wish to build. This will continue 24 hours a day until September 11th. All are welcome and encouraged to show their continued support to this affected by the September 11th tragedy. Hosted by AWEC.

AWEC World Cup Competition kicked off August 30th in AWCC world. Want to compete for the illustrious AWEC World Cup Trophy? We still need teams and judges! Each team will have 3 players. On Saturday, August 17th, AWEC had it's first Stand up Comedy Night in AWCC. Many people had showed up to enjoy a afternoon of fun! Lady Pippin and Alpengeist were, among other things, engaging in a funny talk of a baseball team with peculiar names! The first Comedian night went very well! Due to this success, AWEC plans to make Comedy Night a monthly event!! We just need more stand up comedians. Twelve people, stranded in the middle of a forest. They all have the same goal: win this game of brains. In AWMole - The First Betrayal, players compete for a prize that includes a variety of items. Following in the heels of the smash success Trial Night, AWMole has been extended to a full 10 week season. Players will not know the coordinates for the start of the event before it occurs, but they do know that it will be a large area, shrouded in mystery. Applications are now being accepted to join in on the fun. Before you sign up, please make sure you are available weekly between September 15th and November 17th between 11 PM and Midnight VRT. One player will be eliminated per week, leading up to the grand finale, featuring one night of excitement as the final challenges are played out, followed the next week by a reunion episode where the winner, loser, and mole are revealed. Expect many twists over the course of the 10 weeks. Applications are available now by emailing alpengeist@cox.net. All applications and questionnaires due in by September 10. Only the first 20 completed applications will be accepted, the 13-20 of those as alternates for if a player doesn't show up. Hosted by Alpengeist.
