Celebrate the 4th of July in A'tuin! A weekend long celebration complete with fireworks and Chloe and Subgenius's Wedding! 4th of July Fireworks 

July 4th, 10:00pm 

Chloe and SubGenius's Wedding! 

July 5, 5:00pm The handsome, venerable, booming voiced SubGenius and the very sweet, beautiful and intelligent Chloe are chagrined to announce their upcoming introduction into the Bondage of VR Holy Matrimony as put forth by the Church of the SubGenius. Exact coords for direct teleport: 17.0S 23.7W 2.6a 310 or one can go to GZ and be greeted and directed by Julie and Daemon Dan. 

Twill be an informal affair, ties will be cut with scissors at the door. Shoes are totally unecessary. Magine and Carre will be hostessing. There will be encore fireworks (left over from the 4th) during the reception and you are all invited to watch the...

AFantasy (Fantasy Island) is opening this Friday, July 17,1998 at 09pm EST, The world is still in progress. Its a 1000x1000 PS16 XE in size, and is open to building. The idea behind it is Fantasy Island, and the four corners of the world are occupied by world owners for different theme areas. Ground Zero is complete, and construction of the other cities is started. The four corner worlds are designed much like smaller worlds within a large world. FutureWorld, WestWorld, Outer Limits, and BlurWorld. Lightwave, Blur and myself(Sexy Eyes) would love to see you visit and build. Its a G-rated world, and the only real strict rule is no offending profantity will be tolerated. I hope to see you there.

ImaTowns Grand Opening

July 18, 11:30pm 

Come to the grand opening of ImaTowns world, run by Ima Genius and some of his friends, on July 18th at 11:30pm VRT! For the first 30 minutes you will be able to explore the world, then they will open the visitors center's gates to have a big party, with skits and comedians too!

What Reunion? 

An IRL (in real life) reunion of people/avatars who originally met in the 3D Interactive setting of AlphaWorld/Active Worlds. 

Many of us have formed what will quite likely be life long cyber friendships. Some of us have been fortunate enough to have formed strong real life friendships & loving relationships. Yes, some of us have even found our nemesis in the wonderful world of cyber space. This real life reunion is being planned as an informal gathering of friends and acquaintances. 

The organization committee is made up of former & current Active Worlds citizens and we have no corporate sponsorship.

If you can find all twelve chests, tell the A'tuin WorldMates and you’ll have your name displayed on the list of successful treasure-hunters in A’tuin, become a public speaker for a day, and also win a pair of avatars for use in a world of your own! The Treasure Hunt is now a permanent feature of A’tuin, so don’t be disappointed if you can’t find all the treasure in one evening - you've got forever to find the chests! :) Some of the chests are relatively easy to find, while others are pretty tough. We take tourists and citizens to visit some of the special interest areas of our world i.e our impressive library links of books that interest all ages. Our church, discos, skyscrapers, parks,beach ect. end it all with a list of special events.Then we have a questions and answers session.
