February 5th, 10pm, but pictures stay up all month long and next month too! 

A new exhibition called "Mixed Muscles" opens on Feb 5th at 10pm VRT, at Gallerie 2222, located in Pink Village. Even if Pink Village is a gay community, these pics do probably appeal to non-gay ladies too :)) These are 'real' AW guys, but like you never saw them before... Pictures will be on the walls until April 1st. 

February 7th, 11pm 

There is a swimming pool here, as well as a dance hall and music, and PunKKiD really wants people to go... if you've got nothing important to do, go have some fun at this party! :) 

February 15, 1998 - 5-6pm 

From the Battlecruiser 3000AD web site (it's a game, or so I'm told): 

I [Derek Smart, the 'supreme commander'] will be available for chat on Active Worlds on Sunday February 15th 1998 at 2:00PM EST [that's 5pm VRT - Dth]. I will be available for one hour only, from 2:00PM to 3:00PM EST. I have complete control over the site, so any disruptors will be immediately ejected. Wanna know what we're up to? Wanna know what to expect for v2.0? Wanna meet some of the crazy testers and developers? Be there.

February 20, 1998 - 3pm 

A Grand Opening party is being held at Drink & Dance in Patagonia! February 20th at 3pm VRT. Big party with midi's and RealAudio. Got nothing to do? Go have fun in Pata! :) 

February 21, 1998 - 8pm 

There is a Carnival Party being held in the world A_CHAT3D on February 21st, at 23:00hrs European time, which is 8pm VRT. 

February 22, 1998 - 9pm 

There is a housewarming and chat party at WILD GUY's new area tonight at 5:00pm central time, which is 9pm VRT. He has three areas for chatting set up and wants as many people there as possible. Go have some fun! 

February 28, 1998 - 3pm-6pm 

The opening of the LittleBull Community Center will mark the real beginning of the AWEC. The LittleBull Community Center, named after LittleBull, a prominent early builder in Active Worlds, will feature pictures of past events in Active Worlds, as well as being a central location for information on various events, including links relating to events and the AWEC. This is also the last major event before the avatar change in AlphaWorld takes place, so come and see the pictures and just have a great time!

Saturday night at 6 p.m. CST, we are having trivia games and scramble word games at GZ in dominion. If you would like to join in on the fun, just be there. There will be 2 prizes which will be awarded to only 2 people. The 2 people who answer the most correct answers wins PS for a day. Hope to see you there.

Whole Month Of February!! 

Hidden somewhere in A’tuin are twelve treasure chests, each belonging to one of the twelve infamous pirates listed on the Treasure Hunt web page. If you can find all twelve chests, tell the A'tuin WorldMates and you’ll have your name displayed on the list of successful treasure-hunters in A’tuin, become a public speaker for a day, and also win a pair of avatars for use in a world of your own! Also, ENZO (from COF) offered to contribute a year's AW registration (citizenship) for the one person who finds all the treasure first! The Treasure Hunt will continue at least for the whole month of February and may even become a permanent feature of A’tuin...so don’t be disappointed if you can’t find all the treasure in one evening! Some of the chests are relatively easy to find, while others are pretty tough.
