GX is having a Match up the Pictures contest starting April 1st....with a due date of all photos due at my addy 30 March.....Winners will get their names in lights in GX.....I am collecting recent photos and baby photos....GX is also planning a few more contests which are in the works now and when we are ready i will give you a yell...For More Info contact Geo .....Xena...or myself in GX or message me in AW.

April 4th, 1998 - 10pm 

The new Pink Village Historical Museum opens April 4th at 22:00 VRT. Come by to see pics from the early days in Pink Village presenting pictures from PV's first year - even a picture (hmmm... a rather lousy one) taken the day PV was founded:) As one of the better organized communities still existing in AlphaWorld, PV's history should be interesting to say the least!

The party where LarsK. will present The New Avatars of Patagonia will be in Pata 0n 0w Friday, April 17, 1998 at 17:00 Norway time (11am US eastern) and 1pm VRT. 

MyTwoKeys and Netropolis (DBA VR Avatars), designers of the New Avatars of Patagonia, were runners up in the Best Humanoid division of the Avatars97 competition for their entry, Jasmine. For a preview of a few more of the new VR Avatars designed exclusively for Patagonia, look here:

April 24th - starting in the evening 'til who knows when! :) 

A night of club hopping thru every disco, outdoor cafe and club on Mundo Hispano. Expected to be the party of the year, according to the Spanish world caretaker Nieves!

April 26th, 1998 - All day with events scheduled in the afternoon and evening! 

The Allied Towns is a group of towns incorporating about 60 people building in each town. We recieved these details about the events planned for their Grand Opening on April 26th: 

At 4pm VRT there will be an Introduction to the Star Wars Role PlayingGame by Cahalane in Dunmanway some where in the neighborhood of 7306.9n 406e. 

At 7pm VRT there will be a BBQ with a *special* guest in Alpha98 Village, hosted by me, Bluescruiser. The site of the BBQ will be 3266.6n 3346.4e 270. 

At 8pm VRT there will be a party at RJ City somewhere near CoFMeta 322n 297w 270. 

And I believe that Marcellus will have his event at 9pm in Cottage Grove 19566n 0w. 

There will be tours all day long, and there is plenty of land available for new builders.

Hidden somewhere in A’tuin are twelve treasure chests, each belonging to one of the twelve infamous pirates listed on the Treasure Hunt web page. If you can find all twelve chests, tell the A'tuin WorldMates and you’ll have your name displayed on the list of successful treasure-hunters in A’tuin, become a public speaker for a day, and also win a pair of avatars for use in a world of your own! The Treasure Hunt is now a permanent feature of A’tuin, so don’t be disappointed if you can’t find all the treasure in one evening - you've got forever to find the chests! :) Some of the chests are relatively easy to find, while others are pretty tough.
