The second annual Patarock festival takes place in the heart of Pata's 
cultural capital La Défense. More than 50 carefully selected midis.

Come learn about some of the many communities within the universe of Active Worlds! AW Community Register hosts monthly gatherings in AWCC where worlds, towns, societies and AW- related projects introduce themselves from stage, eventually allong with a few jpg's updated during their presentation. The entire event will last for ca 1 hour, and if you like to present your community (5-10 mins) you have to sign up in advance. Please check our web page for details. 

The programme will be announced at the entrance of AW ComReg's Amphi in AWCC.

10th of May is the Grand Opening of the world gohere. gohere is 
divided into 4 countries, each with it's own government and ruler, in which you can become a citizen and get the right to build and engage in society. The people that run the world are Sir Bok (World owner) and The Gen1uz.PS's and Country Rulers (CR's) are Ace315, truthseeker, phenix, Link Kokiri, Sugar Plum.  

The Grand Opening will take place at 8 pm VRT. Hosts are Sir Bok 
and The Gen1uz and all the people involved in the world.

Due to technical problems there will be no [vote bot] at AWCC GZ to collect your votes for this round. Instead, you can submit your votes at CY Awards' webpage - one vote per category in according to the Nomination List for June 5th Awards. Note; you can only vote for those who are already nominated.  

Also this round will include the Lifetime Achievement award...

Come participate in the 5th round of AWEC's Trivia game! Test your wits with a variety of questions on many different subjects! Teams of 2 or individuals are allowed to sign up to participate; you may show up without signing up, but we'd much prefer it if you signed up first. Sign up by mailing us your (and your partner's) nick. 

The team or individual with the most points from each of the five rounds, wins a pass to the final round taking place in June '99. Final winner gets a PS16XE world!  

We are now using ImaBot's Nestor TriviaBot to run our trivia rounds!

If you can find all twelve chests, tell the A'tuin WorldMates and you’ll have your name displayed on the list of successful treasure-hunters in A’tuin, become a public speaker for a day, and also win a pair of avatars for use in a world of your own! The Treasure Hunt is now a permanent feature of A’tuin, so don’t be disappointed if you can’t find all the treasure in one evening - you've got forever to find the chests! :) Some of the chests are relatively easy to find, while others are pretty tough.
